Joels Birthday!

My parents came in Sat. afternoon to spend the weekend with Joel and I for his Birthday. That afternoon we pulled out the Wii and played tennis, bowling, fishing etc. Mom and dad did really well with bowling and got quite competitive with the duck hunt. Mom won by shooting the entire time even when there was nothing on the screen. We had quite a laugh at that!!



Feb. 22 - Joels Birthday!

Sunday morning Joel made yummy waffles. We headed for church early since I had to practice for our Trio that morning. We had enough time to go through campus at Tech. It was a great morning. We had a light snow, so it made everything very pretty. After church we had a delicious lunch at Joels favorite place and then headed home for a relaxing afternoon.

The gift theme was golf. Joel got some great golf balls &


Tiger Woods Wii game! He couldnt wait to get into it.

Joel was able to do some fun stuff around Kuwait.

This was for Joel's promotion. They had tied Joel and another guy up in chairs and rolled them outside. There they sprayed them down with the warm water from a outside hose and then preceded to pelt them with ice cold water balloons. They had a great time. Nothing like cold water in 120 degree heat!

Ok until I catch up to the current date you will be seeing pictures from the time Joel got home in July to this Dec. I hope you enjoy seeing what we've been up to. It doesnt seem like we've done as much as we did when we were in Colorado but we sure are planning to do a lot after Baby Sloan is born. Enjoy!

Natural Bridge

Here Joel has found a huge bear in the Natural bridge store that we could'nt resist playing with.

It's nice when someone else is willing to take the picture for you! We had a great time exploying the natural bridge.
