no baby yet!

The baby room is almost done. I still have some pictures hang.

I'm really glad we chose blue/brown for our color scheme. It makes the room look so bright and cheery!

I'm going to put his name above the crib and no we dont have a name for him yet. We're going to wait until he comes and hopefully have a name by then.
Ok still no baby!!! I feel like I swallowed a watermellon whole!
The weather is so nice here. We've enjoyed being able to work outside on our flower beds and just sit on our patio.

Week 37

We have some friends from our church that have sheep and goats and a llama. The sheep have newborns and I had to go down to see them. I think if I could I'd go live on a farm just to have a lot of animals. This little guy was sooo cute.
Then Dwight asked if I wanted to hold one and of course I did.

Speaking of Lambs - Mom and dad came this weekend and brought baby Sloan baby gifts and one of them was the softest cutest lamb ever. You could totally take a nap with him.

Sunrise service

This picture was not the greatest picture of the sunrise service but I didnt want to be disruptive and detract from the service so just visualize I'm at the bottom of the hill behind the tahoe taking this picture. They were quite a distance from the house so I could only zoom in so much. Joel said as the service started the sun came up over the mountain- they said it was gorgeous! That's the picture that i'd love to have gotten.
Joel & I got up a little after 5:00 to get the food ready and head over early to help out with directing people and helping out with the food. They had about 40 hay bails and a few blankets and the rest of the people stood.
We had our breakfast in the garage. Our Pastor and his wife set up tables for people to sit, 2 food tables, 1 little kid table and one beverage table. As you can see in the pictures below the garage was packed. It was a little chilly but nice enough for the guys who had coats on to hang out outside. We had a huge assortment of breakfast foods more than enough for our large group.

We had an awesome attendance. A large number of visitors came to our Sunrise service and the count was over 100 people. We were all very excited to see such a great turnout for something that was so early.

What a great Easter it was! oh and yes I did forget to take pictures of Joel and I and our friends. I didnt think of it until we were in the car and everyone had gone. We were beyond busy that morning.

Easter Time!

Our church is having an Easter sunrise service Sunday morning and we are to bring a dish. I decided to bring creme filled doughnuts. I tried making them today just to see how they worked out and they are very easy to do. As most of you know I love doughnuts and these work out great! These are sooo yummy and super fun to do.
Here is my Easter table decor with some of the doughnuts that I made.

Is he cute or what? I thought the eggs were such a great idea - I got that from Sandra Lee
