Whirlwind visit

Joel had some training to do at Langley so we stayed with my parents for a few days and said our goodbyes before he heads off.

Dad got ready to grill and found this little guy enjoying some shade. It took a while to get rid of him.

Hailey had some Uncle David and Aunt Rhonda time. We were able to have dinner on Mothers Day and go to Beamers for dinner on Monday. Hailey had a great time shooting them cute smiles and laughs during our dinner time.

Hailey's first piano lessons. Grandad and Hailey had a great time playing on the piano.

Hailey loves to look at books and her and Grandad had some quiet time reading about William and Kates wedding.

I finally had an apportunity to introduce Hailey to my BFF that has moved close to my parents. It was such a great time to hang out with Amy and her adorable little Elizabeth. Thanks girls for a great time!

Amy let Hailey borrow a ton of stuff and Hailey dove right in.

Next stop~ Powhatan! We made our next goodbye stop with Joel's family and had a chance to see John and Amy and their kids. (still looking for more pics)

Nana and Hailey had fun watching the kids play outside.

Hailey, sophia and Granddad just hangin out.

Great grandma Nesbit had some play time with Hailey too!

Great grandmother Sloan and Hailey had some play time indoors.

We had a great trip, it was just way too short. Thankfully, Hailey is a very go with the flo baby. As long as she can eat and take naps she's good to go.

  1. Awww, how fun to be featured in your blog! ;-) That was E's, what, 2nd or 3rd outfit during your visit? How's the stuff working out for you? Is she enjoying the exersaucer? E would've stayed in that forever if we'd let her. Gave away the crib & car seat (& extra base). Debating on the other stuff...lend out or give away... It was SO GOOD to see you--really lifted my spirits. I love that we have the kind of friendship that even though we may not see each other's faces for years at a time, we can still pick up right where we left off the last time...glad we have the modern-day conveniences to help with that! :-) Love you, girlie!
