Christmas in Korea

We hadn't been in Korea for very long and Christmas was already here. WOw, was the time flying. We were able to get off and get some more presents for Hailey.
Several of the moms brought up that we thought we might have to open a few Christmas presents a little early due to the little natives getting restless. If you can imagine children being in a dorm room with not a lot to play with and it really being too cold outside to play, yes opening presents early was an option this time.
Christmas Eve we were all in the post office and Hailey was given a stocking full of fun little things.
Here are all her little friends that have become best buds while in Korea together.

Joel got to play santa on Christmas Eve. He and many of the guys went around to all of the dorms and hung Christmas stockings on the doors for all of the men and women stationed here. We even found some on our door. They were given by a town in Texas that collected a large group of items and shipped a ton of boxes to the base where people here assorted the stockings and hid them away until Christmas Eve. What a great idea!!

Christmas morning came and Hailey opened her stocking. This year she had no problem getting presents open.

Oh and did I mention a WHITE CHRISTMAS!!!!! I love snow and boy was I excited when we had snow on the ground. Actually we've had snow on the ground almost the entire time we've been here.

We had a yummy Christmas breakfast and Hailey brushed her teeth getting ready for church.

Once we got home we had lunch took a nap and Hailey and daddy had some fun time.

Hailey got a dog for Christmas (thanks Meemom and Granddad). She loved this little guy. He walks and barks.

Hailey had a great time opening her gifts. Joel and I had a great time as well. We were all thankful to be able to have Christmas together.
