Weekend Visits

Joel's parents came to visit this weekend so Sat. we hit the Tech bookstore, checked out the nearby farm when I love to look at the sheep squished in one shady spot. These guys were really crammed in there. Most of them resting but there were a few that we actually trying to eat around the other sheep.

Here's Joel's project which has been on hold for quite a while due to the gravel situation. Thankfully he received the correct gravel today and he's happier than ever!

Once we checked out everything at the farm we headed out to Foster Falls park. This is a great place if you want to do some biking, hiking, horseback riding, boating or tubing. We opted to have a picnic in a great shaded spot right beside the river, only to find out later that we weren't supposed to be there.
After lunch we grabbed our poles and chairs and headed for the good fishing spot. No fish were biting but it was a perfect afternoon to sit in the shade get your feet wet and enjoy the sound of the river.

We did go on a little walk but decided that without the shade it was just way too hot!

Can you imagine sitting in a chair looking at this view. Frankly it had more of a pull towards a good nap. There's something about the sound of a river and a nice breeze to put you to sleep.
