The next day we did some errands and headed to the North Shore. First stop was a shrimp truck for some delish shrimp. Then we found the Dole plantation so we took a little tour.
A lot of our trip we found ourselves saying - "we need to find Hailey some grass to play on" I felt like we had a puppy dog everytime we said that. The whole sanitary thing went out the window day one we landed in Hawaii. Hailey has licked, chewed and bitten any and everything she could. She loved to push her stroller around so we often found a nice spot of grass for her to play on.
We saw these trees and they looked so funny but very Christmas like. THe downside to them is they are actually very prickly.

On our way back to the hotel we saw a scenic spot where there was a blow hole. While I was out taking pictures there was a local telling a story about the blow hole. Evidentally a few years back there was a time where it wasn't blocked off and a man went close to the hole to look in it and the water came out and blew him into the air and took him back down. They didn't find him for 2 days. I had heard how dangerous they were and had never seen one in person. This one didn't seem that big but i guess the tide and force of the waves has a lot to do with it too.
