ALOHA Day3 part1

As you're looking at these next few post and something doesn't quite make sense it's due to my serious lack of sleep and jet lag!
In our hotel at the Hale Koa - We had a huge balcony that was quite safe for Hailey to be on practically by herself. As you notice in this picture, she tried her best to get a glimpse of the hustle and bustle below. Not to mention the birds in the trees outside our room. She started off with a dog obsession but in Hawaii it turned to birds. There are birds everywhere and she loved them.

Our adventure for the day was Diamond Crater. We took a nice drive out to the crater and decided to hike to the top of the crater. I got to cary Hailey first all the way to the top. WHAT A WORK OUT!!!

I had a friend in my MOPS group highly recommend this sling especially for the trip and it was a life saver. It didn't take up any room at all in my bag and was light and airy for a hot walk up the crater.

The view was absolutely beautiful. I believe the view's that we saw on this trip really couldnt be caught in a picture. They were so pretty.

Now if you really wanted to get the actual view of what the top of the crater looked like you needed to take note of it when you were landing or take a nice helicopter ride.

Once we got to the bottom of the crater we were so hot we naturally noticed the shaved ice truck. We got 2 and it was enough to feed 4-5 people. They were super delicious!!!

On our way down I naturally spotted a market. Most of you know I can't pass up a chance to go shopping so we stopped. I love going to the local markets. We had a great time looking at the local food, flowers and hand made items that they had.

I loved these flowers and wished at that time that we were local so that I could get a whole bunch of them to make a beautiful centerpiece.

Leaving the maket was I guess another museum type thing. We didn't have time to check it out but the front was covered in all these types of cactus.

This day was pretty full and I have a lot more pictures to post so I will post more later.
